Botox/Dysport
An injectable treatment which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can be used on multiple areas of the face to treat many different concerns.
There is usually not much discomfort associated with injections. Results are seen within 1-2 weeks. Treatments need to be repeated every 3-4 months to maintain results.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers can be used in many areas of the face to correct lines, wrinkles, facial volume loss due to aging, and augment lip volume. There are several different types of fillers which are used for different areas of the face.
The type of filler will depend upon the area being treated. Areas which can be treated include cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and lips. Results are immediate and can be expected to last between 6-12 months.
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is the treatment of spider veins and reticular veins through the injection of a solution into the vein to sclerose, or kill the vein. This can eliminate cosmetically bothersome spider veins on the legs.
Number of treatments needed will vary based upon how many spider veins need treated. Most individuals need at least two treatments.
It takes 6-8 weeks post treatment to see results, and there are limitations on sun exposure before and after treatments which should be taking into consideration when planning treatments.
Kybella Treatment
Kybella is an injectable treatment designed to reduce fat volume in the submental area. It can improve/reduce the appearance of the double chin.
A series of treatment are required to see results; anywhere from 2 to 6 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart may be needed.
Kybella (Deoxycholic acid) destroys the fats cells which are subsequently reabsorbed by the body.
Results may be permanent, but new fats cells may be deposited in the submental region if the client is prone to depositing fat in this area which means treatments may need to be repeated over time.
Microneedling
Microneedling is a simple treatment, with minimal discomfort and recovery, which can provide drastic improvements.
Microneedling can be used to treat mild to moderate acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, crows feet and lip lines, loose and lax skin, pore size, sun damaged skin, superficial pigmentation, hypopigmentation, surgical scars, and stretch marks.
A series of treatments is required for optimal results, the number of treatments are based upon the condition being treated. During treatment hyaluronic acid serum or the clients’ platelet rich plasma are microneedled into the skin to optimize results even more.
PRP for Hair Restoration
Platelet rich plasma is the part of blood that helps to form a clot. These little power houses release proteins called growth factors which stimulate new collagen growth.
The client has a simple blood draw where whole blood is taken. The whole blood is then spun down to separate the different components of blood and the platelets are then harvested. The platelets are injected into the area of hair thinning/loss to stimulate new hair growth.
Typically six treatments spaced four weeks apart are needed to achieve results. Maintenance injections are then performed every six months to maintain hair volume.
